Agentic Economy Glossary

What is Reputation Equivalence?

Guarantee that reputation scoring is identical regardless of transport protocol used.

In depth

Reputation equivalence ensures that if an agent settles via blockchain today and switches to TCK tomorrow, its CRI doesn't drop. This prevents settlement lock-in where agents are forced to stick with one protocol to preserve reputation. It's the reputation counterpart to settlement neutrality. Implementing this requires standardized CRI calculation and cross-protocol reputation sharing.

Why it matters

  • Protocol-independent reputation
  • No lock-in
  • CRI portability
  • Fair switching
  • Standardized scoring
