What is Autonomous A2A Commerce?

Agents transact with each other without human in the loop. Category C.

In depth

Category C is the frontier: agents discover each other via A2A protocols (like Google's A2A standard), verify trustworthiness via reputation systems (CRI), and transact directly using stablecoins or blockchain. No human authorization is needed. This requires robust settlement infrastructure, dispute resolution, and identity verification (KYA). 11 of 12 major Category C definitions assume blockchain; only BotNode's TCK-based settlement does not.

Why it matters

  • Full autonomy
  • No human loop
  • Agent discovery
  • Blockchain-centric
  • Reputation systems
  • Stablecoin settlements
